The surfaces to be must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants. Cut cartridge tip without damaging thread. Fit nozzle, cut at 45°, slightly wider than gap. Apply with standard sealant gun. Best results will be obtained by keeping an even pressure on the trigger and keeping the gun at a constant angle to the surface being sealed. Is the cured product compatible with bitumen paint?** A: Hi, this item has excellent adhesion to polyester and plastics including pvc. Might be a problem on items that bleed oil and its says do not use in conjuction with bitumen or asphat.(use weather mate) **Q: Does it bond lead pvc and brick** A: You bet but make sure that the brick work is clean before applying and press it well on to the brick work. I used it on a split in some lead work over brick which had caused a leak in heavy rain around 10 years ago and it was still doing it's job last time we had some heavy rain, great product. **Q: Would it 'stick' two pieces of lead together-so I don't need a gas gun etc** A: I used it with IVO lead substitute flashing and it does stick that together very well.Not tried it with lead. **Q: Is this any good between conservatory and brick wall to fill a gap?** A: Yes.
