I am 6 foot one and 225 pounds with a wide shoulder build, the square foot box allowed me to spread my legs apart for comfortability and the synthetic material is way softer than I anticipated. I had never had a sleeping bag with a hood on it before, it was a nice change so being in it I felt more heat was conserved inside the bag. I did not try pulling the draw string to test it because there was no need to. It was almost too warm as it was. The length of the bag would fit any adult comfortably up to 6' 5" but any height over that and the bag would be too short or small. There is a small pouch in the bag on the inside which is nice for many things depending on what gear you like having close to you. It is big in size when rolled up and the straps are tightened, it is roundabout 4 pounds, but it WILL keep you warm in colder weather, it is comfortable, soft, very water repellant. I fully recommend getting a sleeping pad to use with any sleeping bag in colder weather to further insulate you from the ground and allows your sleeping bag to be more beneficial in insulating your body heat. The higher the R value, the lower temperatures your gear can handle. I do believe the R value of this bag is 2 or 2.2 same as my sleeping pad.
