Review: Nice, Low-slung File Cabinet/Shelf - Recently got this to augment a stand-up four-drawer file cabinet that had reached its capacity. The item arrives very well packaged, with a ton of interior packing material, styrofoam, cardboard, and foam padding. It takes some time to pull all of the components out of the box and separate them all from the packing material. The shipping box is heavy, so recommend a second person to assist with moving it and with the assembly. Assembly. I did it all myself, with the assistance of a large work table. It is doable by one person, but definitely would be much easier with a second person assisting. All pieces were accounted for and clearly labeled, as was all of the hardware, with a couple of basic tools required. No power tools required. The instructions were straightforward and clear; it took me about an hour to assemble the unit. Once assembled the unit is easy to move, as it has wheels. The two front wheels are lockable. Once assembled the unit is very sturdy, not flimsy or wobbly. I immediately loaded up both filing drawers and the unit had no problems at all with the weight, still easy to move with the wheels. The addition of the power connection at the back of the top shelf is nice, very handy. The supplied locking unit for the top drawer worked just fine, locking easily with both supplied keys. Both filing drawers are adjustable for regular folders and legal size. Bottom Line: this is a great unit for the price stated. It comes together easily and is stable and sturdy when finished. Recommend. The shelves on each side are not adjustable at all.
Review: Great filing cabinet/printer shelf - We recently updated our basement "office" space and I had been searching for a reasonably priced corner desk. When I found the SEDETA L Shaped Computer Desk I knew it was meant to be as the dimensions worked PERFECTLY. Once I was sold on that, I needed to get a storage shelf/cart for our printer (the desk shelf isn't large enough) and I was happy to find the SEDETA 44" File Cabinet which matched the desk. I found assembly to be pretty easy. Each piece was labeled, as was the hardware, and the instructions were pretty clear. There was another review which indicates you should "wait to install Item 1 until last"... I followed that recommendation but I'm not sure what value it added as it actually made installing the middle screw more difficult and I believe having done it when originally advised it would make things easier to "balance" on other steps (so I would probably ignore that!). Overall the steps are pretty straightforward and I only had 1-2 issues. There was one part where there were multiple holes (and some appeared to be "puttied" over) which caused a mistake when installing the drawer rails, but I quickly recognized and corrected the mistake. All said and done... it took about 1.5 hours to fully build (and that was while doing other things around the house, and by myself). There seemed to be a few other areas with putty applied which was a bit annoying (just getting on hands/fingers) but that was a minor annoyance. The quality is what you would expect for this price point... the wood surface itself is a bit thin, but it looks very nice in person and I love the "industrial" look mixing wood and metal. I also compared the "height" of the file cabinet to the matching desk and assumed the "desk" surfaces would be the same height for both items (29.5") however the file cabinet surface is slightly less as the 29.5" measurement in the photo is for the back wall (which adds 3.9"). As for the drawers, I paid extra attention to ensuring all of the pieces were "squared" when assembling and that the rails were level/centered and I was pleased to find no issues with opening/closing (slides smoothly) or drooping. The addition of integrated power is a nice addition. One other thing I'll mention is that we also purchased the SEDETA L Shaped Computer Desk (also in "Rustic Brown). It isn't an exact color match (a little more of a lighter brown with less of the black grain/streaks) but it's "close enough" to be across the room and not stand out. I've included a photo of that here as well just for reference. I will have more photos on that product/review page for anyone interested, as that was one of the things I looked for when purchasing and considered going in all white since they were likely to be an exact color match. Overall I would recommend this file cabinet - just make sure there's no exterior damage to the box when it arrives from shipping and the inside is well packaged and everything should be good. Enjoy!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact, on wheels, light duty storage
*by C***N on August 1, 2026*

Overall great. Only one drawer locks. The wheel locks are difficult to reach, tiny, and feel fragile- one heavy step and it (and the wheel) may break. Cubbies are small. Positive: has two outlets to plug electronics in and nice top shelf to set pics or other items on. It is moderately small making it good for for tight spaces. Does NOT look or feel like a heavy duty piece to hold lots of documents, more of a light storage desk.
