Review: Great buy! - Bought at a good price these citronella t lights last quite a long time, give off a nice lemony smell and appear effective at deterring insects. The candles don’t burn very bright but do the job required.
Review: Mostly works well, nice smell too - I bought these candles to help deter the insect pests that always seem to arrive this time of year. For the most part they have done that, though a few creatures don't seem to mind the smell. I've not had any flies, wasps, or moth since lighting just one every evening. It's no question that these candles are repelling the moths very well -- we still get them in rooms without these candles. However Spiders (Pholcidae in particular -- aka daddy longlegs) aren't repelled by this smell, so these candles won't do for you if that's the problem you're having. Most spiders are usually fine anyway as they just sit tight and nom everything else that gets caught in their web, it's just the odd Pholcidae hopping about everywhere that get annoying. It's hard to comment on the smell as it's very much a question of taste. They do smell rather citrusy. Not quite the full lemon smell, but close and pleasant enough. They do last roughly 4 hours each. You can make each one (after the first) last a bit longer if you wait for the expired candle wax to dry out, squeeze the container to break up the wax slightly, then tip it into your next candle. That's rather tight to do considering the pack of 25 is only £3.50 anyway! Great value, will be buying again.

**Q: Are they made by Prices?? Don’t appear to say their name...**
A: The seller says yes. But having just taken delivery of 100 of them, there’s nothing on the packaging to suggest Price’s candles has anything to do with this product. Unless Price’s has moved to Italy. I suspect a bit of false advertising here...

**Q: I keep getting small litttle flys in bathroom as i live by a lot of trees can i use these inside and do they smell horrible ?**
A: Always make sure the candles are in a safe and secure area.  The aroma is very pleasant and does attract small insects .  I have them outside when I am eating and they do work.

**Q: how long do these burn for**
A: These Tea lights only burn for three hours, which is less than most good quality tea lights.

**Q: Can you use these indoors**
A: I have used these indoors and outside  on holiday in Spain to ward off flying insects. Stand then on a plate or a suitable heat proof flat surface that won’t be damaged by heat or hot wax and use them carefully, as you would any tea light or candle.

I bought these candles to help deter the insect pests that always seem to arrive this time of year. For the most part they have done that, though a few creatures don't seem to mind the smell. I've not had any flies, wasps, or moth since lighting just one every evening. It's no question that these candles are repelling the moths very well -- we still get them in rooms without these candles. However Spiders (Pholcidae in particular -- aka daddy longlegs) aren't repelled by this smell, so these candles won't do for you if that's the problem you're having.
