Product description When a roof starts letting water in, you need a repair that works in real British weather, not one that waits for a dry week. Master Bitumen All Weather Roofing Compound is a heavy duty, fibre reinforced bitumen paint and roof sealer that seals out rain almost immediately after application, making this black bitumen paint the dependable choice for emergency roof repair and planned maintenance alike, whatever the season. This thick, brushable bitumen sealant works as a felt roof sealant, a roof sealer waterproof against driving rain, and a liquid roof coating for flat and pitched roofs, where you might otherwise reach for a liquid rubber roof coating or rubber roof sealant. Use it to re-seal roof felt for sheds, garages and outbuildings, a shed paint waterproof enough for any garden building, or for asphalt repair, roof felt repair and concrete repair on cracked decks. It bonds to asphalt, bitumen, concrete, felt, metal, slate, tiles and asbestos cement sheeting, sealing joints in guttering and metal sheeting, including iron, steel, zinc and lead. Combine with a rot proof hessian or glass fibre scrim as a complete flat roof repair kit for cracks and splits. The compound also doubles as a damp seal paint, damp proof paint and liquid DPM style vapour barrier on concrete decks. Apply two to three coats by brush or spray equipment at 1.0-1.5m² per litre per coat. Review: Excellent product and service - Don't normally leave reviews but this product and speedy delivery deserves one..this is my third tin of this my first purchase was roughly a year and half or so ago..long story short I bought a house and garage roof was dire felt coming off and ply boards warped new roof to say the least leaking like a seive and if you stood in the garage u could see the sun through the roof really bad but didn't have the money at the time to spend on a new roof..project roof 1 went up on the roof swept it down and removed loose debris..mad a note of loose and bendy boards and braced them from the underside with wood same dimensions as my existing roof beams inside results a reasonably sturdy roof 2 apply this amazing product but be sure to mix well I used a mixing attachment fitted to my cordless drill remember the product contains fibres that need mixing well to bridge fine gaps and add to strength..then I bucketed it on and spread it out with a 5inch flat brush applying liberally but also spreading out as well this coat was not intended to seal my roof but provide a good sound base to make repairs to and apply a second coat 3 after a couple of days when weather was cooler I went on the roof with a tube of gutter seal not silicone this stuff is like a soft bitchimen based product that stays soft in a caulk gun and filled all gaps and cracks between boards that didn't move anymore as I'd braced them underneith remember 4 I bought some bitumen adhesive and felt and patched over all of my repairs and dodgy looking bits on the roof then went around all patches with the roofing compound that I had from my first tin mixed well and painted onto and over edges of new felt patches liberally to seal them in ...5 order another tin second tin about 3 weeks had passed now and it has rained and the roof itself held up well and didn't leek but I knew what I had done was not really enough so I went onto the roof again when the weather was cool as bitumen or anything of that nature softens in direct heat so pick Ur day I swept off my sound patched roof and applied the already well mixed second tin this time with a trowel /float what ever you know it as and I had enough product for one good coat trowled on plentyfull and left well alone to dry ....1and a half years later ish and that roof has not leaked once in has puddles stood on it as I said the boards were warped but the product where this water has stood has not failed it has been through winter and frozen and snow and direct heat and not once failed no leaks..that is why IV just ordered another it came the day after I mentioned excellent service my plan this weekend is to build up my areas of standing water I will do this with pea shingle adheared to the puddles area dry until level eliminating standing water and then when cured apply another coat of this roofing compound to the roof with a float once this is cured a week or to after the summer I will adhesive and spread chippings on my roof to act as a protective surface from the sun and also a nice look of a flat roof from the back bedroom window yes it's cost me a few quid over time but I didn't have the money for a new roof and I have got a lot of satisfaction from doing it and I also think it has really tested the roofing compound as my roof was so bad great stuff I will maybe put on some pics soon as it stands now and when it is finished before chippings hope this helped.
Review: It just works and works well. - This was my last throw of the dice before paying out £1.8k to have my felt garage roof re-felted. Stirring it was a challenge but with a stirring attachment in an electric drill I got the correct consistency and waited for a dry sunny day and applied it. Make sure you sweep the roof clear of all debris and your good to go. It's very thick and applying it takes effort, apply liberally with a tar brush. Waited 48hrs and gave it a second coat and 24hrs after that along came Storm Amy. I was dreading going into the garage to check but after 36hrs of torrential rain I checked and it was bone dry, nothing, no water ingress at all. Do the correct prep and apply liberally and this stuff is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this to seal some leaks on a epdm roof**
A: It would be advisable to use a rubber based medium on epdm rather than a bitumen based one for a lasting repair. 
Consult the epdm manufacturers for professional advice.

**Q: any good for a felted shed roof ? it's a new shed but leaks like a shive .**
A: It is a fairly low viscosity compound so not ideal for a pitched roof as it will run. I used it on a flat roof and that was fine.

**Q: Can you apply decorative gravel on top?**
A: You only really do chippings with a Bitumen gritting solution,this is a roof coating not an adhesive

**Q: Is it 'pourable' through a funnel?**
A: Depending on how large the spout is in the funnel and if it were a warm day it would run slowly through a funnel but less likely on a cold day. It will need a good stir first and then put it in the sun or in a warm room. I hope this helps, Roger Mc.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says on the tin

After a fictitious delivery attempt I contacted the seller, explained that I and my Husband had been in all day in fact Husband in front garden cutting grass and hedges, so NO DELIVERY had been attempted, he was so accommodating and agreed that delivery couldn't have been attempted as it hadn't left the deliverers HUB, he was very apologetic and got onto them immediately, saying it had been a week since I placed the order and he had personally sent it out for delivery that very day, upshot was it arrived next day as it should of in the first place. The item is very good and reasonably priced and I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs a roof made waterproof, we put it on one of our stable roof's, and it has not let the water in, also the seller, Neil is a very genuine man, if you read this Neil, thank you
