## Questions & Answers

**Q: What size drill bit do I need to fit these bolts please?**
A: You need a 8mm masonary drill. These thunderbolts are interference fit. You drill 8mm hole. Hammer them in slightly at the start and use a spanner to screw them in the rest of the way until fully tightened. The raised parts of the thunderbolts cut into the concrete as you screw them in . Hope this helps.

**Q: Are these 8mm width**
A: Yes, use an 8mm drill and they'll cut their own thread as you tighten them. They're excellent bolts that I used to anchor a large steel framed garage and I can safely say it ain't going anywhere!

**Q: could I sandwich a piece of rope with two bricks bolted together?**
A: Probably. But you would need to be careful when drilling and tightening. The bolts are stronger that fragile bricks

**Q: Could i use these to fix a cast iron bracket for a hanging basket to my house?**
A: I believe so but the brackets you fix to the wall would need to have holes of the right size to accommodate the screws, may be a washer if to large. They do provide excellent anchorage in brick work. Hole sizes crucial.
