Review: Great Kit. - As with all Tamiya kits, they are the upper side of quality and engineering. Better than a Revell or Airfix, but not as detailed as a Dragon or a Trumpeter. What I like about Tamiya is that they are usually quite simply engineered in terms of parts, and the fit of the said parts is usually if always spot on. No needs for excessive filler or reshaping. This tank is no exception. No major problems were found with construction an the whole thing went together well. Some decal setting fluid will be needed as the decals can silver, and I would recommend aftermarket tracks as the ones that are supplied are a little stiff and ridged. ON the whole, a great buy.

For the few days around his birthday i barely saw him once as he was wrapped in the excitement of a Russian T-62A glueing and painting all the high quality delicate parts.

**Q: what is the scale?**
A: Hello Nicholas,  It says on the box that it is 1/25 scale.  Thank you for your interest.  Model Empire Inc.

**Q: Do the treads and wheels rotate? And does the turrent Rotate?**
A: The wheels and the the turrent rotate but not the treads.

**Q: Are the tracks one piece or a bunch of pieces that you have to link together?**
A: Tracks are one-piece, flexible vinyl strips, not individual links. Kit overall is mediocre. Turret shape should be circular, not teardrop-shaped, and the kit is overscale, about 1/32nd, to make room for the electric motor pack Tamiya used to include in its kits back in the '70's. But it is an easy build.

**Q: What is scale?.**
A: Scale is the proportion between the size of the model and the size of the real object. If you take the length of the real object, and divide it by 35, you have the length of the 1/35th scale model. For instance, a 5'10" man is exactly two inches tall in 1/35th scale (5'10" is also 70 inches, and if you divide that by two, and you get two inches).

went together very well,producing a very nice tank,though i did have to buy a metal gun barrel as the one that comes with the kit was slightly bent.
