However one of my cats has never shown Ny interest in cat mint but the other two love it. I tend to grow it in pots indoors. **Q: Can you grow them indoors?** A: Yes. We grow it in a 9 inch diameter pot on the window sill so the cats can have it year-round. You'll want to put fresh soil every year as the nutrients in the soil deplete, especially when/if it gets big. **Q: What is the best potting soil to grow the catnip in indoors i grew some many years ago and all the cats were ill which i put down to the incorrect s** A: Just buy potting soil in a bag- Amazon or garden centre.
