It is pretty toasty in winter so I haven’t needed to add an extra throw or blanket even when it’s colder in the room.As with my other Silentnight duvet, this arrived tightly wrapped but was easy to get out of the packaging and quickly expanded out to its full thickness.An important feature for me is that it is hypoallergenic, having a synthetic filling rather than a feather one. As I have a friend who has skin allergies, it’s important to me that when they stay over the bedding is suitable for them. I use this in conjunction with a good quality cover and this affords both of us some peace of mind. It’s also machine washable.As you might expect, this 13.5 tog duvet is a bit too warm in the height of summer but it isn’t designed for use in warmer months so is good for use seasonally.The quality is very good with the duvet being well made and even after washing, no clumping in the filling.
