Invented by a Belgian cosmetic chemist Dr. Edmond Fromont in 1954 it was a soap that returned the natural ph balance to your skin as quickly as if you had only washed your face with water. Only your face was cleaner. Sadly Johnson & Johnson now own the brand and are not farsighted enough to realise this is a very very good product. It might not suit everyone but I always say that the proof is in the pudding. I will be hitting the big '50' soon and it has done me no harm after 30 years of use.
