Has anyone actaully Bought it and reviewed it???** A: We had one of these years ago and ended up giving it away at a garage sale. Growth is nothing like you see in their images - despite it being automated and pre-packaged. You also need to look at their "seed kits" and the availability. Unless you want salad leaves, you may be disappointed, because the others are strangely never in stock. I actually purchased this for my wife to grow strawberries, but the seed kits for them were discontinued after being flooded with complaints. They might be back again after reworking them, though.I would say these are the green-finger version of bread makers. Anyone raving about them after a few weeks should be ignored. It's when you need supplies to try again you'll see what ownership is really like. Unless you have many seasons of success, they clearly are a novelty item. Just add up the price, the supplies, the energy costs, then look at the little harvest yields for £100+. Shame. **Q: Comments have mentioned it can be a bit noisy "gurgling" in particular. Compare to a normal fridge how loud is it?** A: It's gurgles very quietly for 5 minutes every hour. I had it near the bed at my old place but it was never loud enough to bother me, the light is on for up to 18 hours a day I wouldn't recommend it if you have a bedsit. Now it's in the lounge I don't notice it 99% of the time even though it is right next to the sofa and I actually find the lighting quite pleasant during the winter when I suffer a little from seasonal depression. **Q: I have 3 harvest's with fab results. what is the power of the light above it? volt? watt? cost in uk?** A: The LED light on these gardens is 30 watts.
