Review: Amazing product! - The good: I love the easel. The canvases, easel, palette knives, plastic palette, and wooden palette are all amazing. Fine quality and well worth the price! You do get a lot of brushes, and a lot of different types of brushes. The bad: The paints and brushes are cheap. The brushes have stray hairs, that are already all over the place when I opened them. The hairs of the brushes come off in your painting. Personally, this drives me crazy. This is the second time I have bought this set. The first time, the easel was missing a screw. It wasn't such a big deal to send it all back, but luckily I rigged something that would work.

The good: I love the easel. The canvases, easel, palette knives, plastic palette, and wooden palette are all amazing. Fine quality and well worth the price! This painting set has absolutely everything needed to begin painting. I got this set for myself and my for my 14 year old to share. We are novice painters and just like to do it for pleasure. I was excited that this set leaves out any guess work of what kind of paint brushes to get - it had everything we needed to get started immediately. The easel itself is very sturdy and durable and easy to set up. We can easily fold it up and store it under the bed when not in use. The ledge makes it capable of holding small to large canvas’ in place. I love the assortment of acrylic colors. They are vibrant and full coverage. The paint comes organized by shade/color so you can easily find the one you want. The canvas’ are very nice and I was excited to try the black canvas, the colors really pop on this. I’m beyond pleased with this set. I could imagine it being good for intermediate painters, not just a beginner like myself. However. As a beginner I did like having the convenience of ALL that is needed being available in one set.
