We have used it for many years on an adult who is profoundly disabled and doubly incontinent. It does leave a white residue on the skin surface but for us, that is fine as his clothes are protected by a continence pad. So,I’ve a nursing background so I’m gonna write my review from my experience as a nurse. People get sore, be that from incontinence, skin friction or just poor personal hygiene because they are no longer able to do what they once did. Persistently wet skin and having to wear incontinence products is going to result in inflamed, sore skin at some point. Be that, in the more private parts or round the groins and upper thigh where incontinence products fit plus the area between the buttocks. Apply Metanium Cream liberally wearing gloves as it is an amazing product for reducing soreness quickly but its thick. It used to be yellow in colour, it’s now white but you still don’t wanna get it on any fabrics at home, including carpets as it’s just a rich consistency that’ll cling on for dear life.
