The selection here from throughout Shag's career is nice, and includes some very recent stuff like the Star Wars Cantina piece (2016). The index at the back features thumbnails, year, and titles of paintings, as well as page numbers. However, not every piece has a page number, and sometimes it skips 20 pages with no numbers, but then the next two pages have numbering. A little odd, but no big deal.I did want to point out that some of the print quality, about 15 pages worth, is pretty poor. Most paintings are scanned/photographed excellently, and look flawless. However, on some, the quality is terrible and comparable to what you might get if you tried to print a Shag piece from your home desktop printer: grainy, blurry, and inconsistent color. I own several Shag books and this hasn't been a problem before, so I'd say it's the print job/scan job and not the art itself. The other 90% of the material looks perfect, though.All in all, a solid book with great art that would benefit from a few minor improvements; the fact that the price is lower than other SHAG art books certainly helps. I am going to see if there is a way to contact Amazon about this "broken" purchase. Disappointed as it was a gift.
