A: I used this bag as a carry on with two different airlines and once with an airline as a personal item, so both work!

A: The duffel bag can hold a pair of sneakers, and it has a separate shoe slot that won't stain any of your belongings.

**Q: can this bag fit a yoga mat?**
A: The literature shows the length of the bag at just under 18”. Our mats are about 24”. While they do not fit inside of the bag, there are fixtures at each end of the bag where we can clip our mats. It has worked out just fine for us.

I love this bag! I've used it on several trips, and it holds the perfect amount of items for a decently long getaway. Great for a gym bag as well, but I mostly use it for travel. The shoe holder is nice, I sometimes use it to separate worn clothes from the rest of the bag if I do not have access to a wash and am travelling light. Quality is very nice, durable, and I like that the handle is removable from the small bag in case I want to use it more like a makeup pouch.
