((EDIT after six months: Don’t ram frozen items too forcefully when blending, as this can cause the blade to become disaligned and come loose from the motor action and then leak in a catastrophic way that reveals the device’s Achilles’ heel but is not its fault. If you approach the process gently and patiently — yes, lesson learnt; so sorry, dear Magimix — you won’t need to go through the costly trouble of having to replace the blade. **Q: How “quiet” is this? I have a small dog and he doesn't like it when i use the blender i have at present as it is quite loud**
A: It’s not that quite but it’s not very load. It’s kind of acceptable loud.
Not sure if your dog going to like it but you will definitely like it as it’s very good

**Q: Hi guys, can this dry beans, lentils, raw rice, coconut, hard nuts and spices as well? Along with wet ingredients ofc. Just wondering about its power**
A: Probably best to get the solid little grinder for nuts, seeds etc.  However it’ll probably do them ok as it will do ice which is very hard.

**Q: Hi, is the power blender any good for making nut butters, like peanut butter etc in either the standard 1.8l jug or the mill attachment?**
A: Yes, it will. The advice in the booklet is to use the little mill for nut butters. I’ve not tried yet but the mill is very good for coffee beans and also pesto. The 1.8 litre jug is big for nut butters, so the mill is the obvious solution.

**Q: Which specific adapter do i need to buy for use in the u.s.? where can i buy the adapter? or?**
A: You will need a voltage converter.

This is a brilliant blender. If you’re looking for a daily workhorse to compete with the most popular high-end blenders, this won’t disappoint. We recently purchased the largest model (5XL) and couldn’t be more pleased with the silky texture of our daily smoothies (hypernourishing veg content, plus frozen fruit and seeds) or the perfect professional-grade evenness of our soups and hummus.
