You are supposed to use type 55 staples, but finding them is a different matter. Hilka gave me size of staple 11.3 mm x 0.75 mm x 8-16 mm, this size does not seemingly relate to Type 55 staples. I am currently waiting for some I ordered from the size given, but I am not very confident that they will fit and work.
