It sits comfortably on a finger and after a few pulsing lights, to indicate that its working, displays your blood oxygen level and heartbeat. For someone who wants more ,you can also set alarms but I haven't bothered - it just shows what I want to know ,clearly ( and comparing it with a device my partner has) accurately. It also has a very attractive feel and colour ,which is a satisfying bonus.If I had a small piece of advice for the makers ,it would be to tell you near the start of the comprehensive instructions that to switch it off,you leave it alone and it just does it.
