Review: What a great little heater, very economical - I needed an under the desk heater for work as my feet are always cold. I had a fan heater before that and Ben on the lower setting it was as consuming 1220W and it never heat up evenly. It would either burn my shoes or let all heat escape. This one is just above 700W and as it heats more evenly and slowly I have heat all around the underneath of my table. It also stops and starts when it gets warm so it has really halved my electricity bill so it basically it has paid itself off in possibly 2 and a half months! You can see on the graph it has reduced my daily consumption from 7.42KWh to 4.32KWh. Your cost of assuming a KWh is £0.34 will be around 25pence per hour. It creates quite a lot of heat for such a small heater. People say that the power button blows up after a while but I will replace it with a non neon button from CPC so it can last a long time. Very light too. Also no oil so no mess or fire hazard for work! Really happy with purchase.

**Q: Can this be plugged into a timer please?**
A: Hi you can use a timer I do on one of mine but the thermostat will turn it off and on once you set it at the desired temperature , it depends if you want to keep the building at a steady temperature if so I would suggest using the inbuilt thermostat if you only want it to warm the area up at certain times then a timer would be better. I have 3 of these one on a timer because I only need the area warm at night the other 2 just work via the thermosat and the are is kept at a nice constant temperature as the unit flicks on and off to keep thet set temperature. Hope This Helps

**Q: How much per hour does this cost to use?**
A: at standard 15.8p kwph cost it's around 12p per hour whilst on constantly. It will flick on and off with the thermostat though

**Q: Is the heater silent?**
A: We never hear the heater.  There is a very small click when the thermostat is activated but nothing that would be noticed unless you live in absolute silence.

**Q: what are the benefits of an oil free radiator as opposed to an oil filled radiator**
A: Oil free is More immediate warm up, but also cools quickly. This is useful for camping -or anywhere you would want to move it after use. Also it is lighter for moving.

Great heater for my small office room. Replaced a bigger oil heater than died after a year. Heats up much faster and takes up less space. No chance of an oil leak. Recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good heater but mine had a slight cosmetic fault

This looks like being a good little heater — it's small and pleasing in appearance, warms up quickly, and there's a dial to adjust the heat setting rather than simply on/off or hi/lo. My only disappointment was a small fault which is only cosmetic and does not affect the function — the end casing affixed to the body of the heater, onto which the foot is screwed, is slightly malformed at one end and cannot be made to sit neatly in place. There's a gap. It's not broken, and it was carefully packaged with protective polystyrene inside the box; it must have left the factory like it, I think. We carefully unscrewed the casing and reassembled it but it's just a bit awry and we couldn't fix it. I decided it was a first-world problem, and over the top to require a delivery man to come out all over again to get a replacement; I've positioned it so that side is to the back. But it is a minor irritation, especially as this model is much more expensive than some of similar size — I bought it because I think it's so pretty. I don't know how well it will perform once the cold weather comes, but it certainly functions fine and sits neatly in the space next to my bed. It's really light to pick up and move, which I like, comes with an instruction sheet, and the on/off switch and setting dial are clear and easy to get to.
