And how long does it stay hot for ?** A: Yes I think it does, if that's the standard size soup tin. I pre-heat my flask for ten minutes with boiling water and fill it with soup at 6:30am and then I eat the soup at about 1:00pm and its still as hot as it was when I put it in. **Q: Does this Thermos still come supplied with the metal twist-out spoon? or is it the plastic telescope spoon?** A: Yes. The spoon that is very sturdy and works wonder! but the hinges can be difficult to clean so it takes a bit of patience. 5 stars product and I use it every day. Nice size too. **Q: will this size be suitable for both 400g soups and stews? Looking for something for the husband to take to work, he's a lorry driver** A: The flask easily fits a 400g tin of soup and would definitely be suitable to fill with stew. Keeps things at the perfect temperature, would definitely recommend it, the fold up spoon is very handy. **Q: I dropped this flask from a height, is it still safe to use?** A: Yes ## Frequently Bought Together - Thermos Stainless King Food Flask, 470ml Capacity - Sleek Multi- Purpose Flask for Daily Food Prep - Durable Stainless Steel with Classic Gun Metal Finish - Ideal for On-the-Go Meals & Drinks - Thermos Stainless King 1.2L Multi- Purpose Thermos Flask - Original-Style Flask used as Travel Mug or Insulated Water Bottle for Daily Commute & Weekend Adventures – Midnight Blue, 5- Year Warranty - Thermos Stainless King Food Flask, 710ml Capacity - Sleek Multi- Purpose Flask for Daily Food Prep - Durable Stainless Steel with Midnight Blue Finish - Ideal for On-the-Go Meals & Drinks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/48071397-thermos-stainless-king-gun-metal-food-flask-470ml-9h-hot](https://www.desertcart.us/products/48071397-thermos-stainless-king-gun-metal-food-flask-470ml-9h-hot) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
