So I bought some of the powdered type and sprinkled a bit into a tub of warm water, poured it over the screen, and took my time wiping it over the glass in small cirular motions using a damp sponge. Then I rinsed it all off with cold water. I fully expected to sit back in the car only to see the same hard water deposits still catching the light, but to my suprise, the glass was really clean, no more stains. What's more impressive is that I really didn't scrub that hard because I didn't know anything about the product at that point so didn't want to risk scratching the glass. I've since used Bar keepers Friend to clean the house windows and acheived the same great results. Sparkling clean! It also cleans other stuff too, ceramic sinks etc and comes in sprays and creams too, which I intend to try after my current pack of powdered form runs out.
