I first took a marking pen and drew a straight line on the inside of the elbow on the fiberglass pole just so I could orientate the new joint like the old one was. I then ground the broken one on 1 side with a belt sander down to the fiberglass pole. Be careful not to grind on the pole to much or it will weaken it. I just ground one side but it would make it easier if you ground it down on both sides 180 degress apart. Pry the pole out from the damaged joint, the keyway kinda held it on. Line up the new one with your marker line and push the new one in all the way and Bob's your uncle. Review: Price too high pre unit - Price is high for job performance.
