A very small amount goes a long way, and within a few minutes you can feel a noticeable warming sensation that helps loosen tight muscles and reduce minor aches. I usually apply a thin layer and massage it in, and the relief lasts for a good while. The balm itself is thick but spreads easily, and the small jar is convenient to keep in a gym bag or bedside drawer. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly the smell. It’s quite strong and very menthol/herbal, which might not be ideal if you’re planning to go out right after applying it. Also, if you have sensitive skin you may want to test a small amount first because the warming effect is pretty powerful. Overall though, it’s a classic product that does what it promises.
