Bought many of these!
I think I have bought maybe three of these in total, decent quality non-branded chargers, well-made and do the job required; I use them on tablets and phones with no issues. I would recommend 2A for most phones or tablets nowadays as they charge quick, but do check your recommended rating first (Google the specs of your phone, and you should find the recommended charging ampage). The chargers claim surge protection, protection against magnetic interference and other tricks but it's hard to prove these either way without dismantling the charging block. The plug is not too bulky, it has a decent length cable, and the connector is good and notchy so no issues with connection. Charges as fast as an OE charger I would say, and at such a low price you can buy many (as I have).Very decently made cheap charger. Recommended.

Not 2 Amps or 5 Volts, check it B4 using it !! NEW DESIGN UPGRADE - improves charger immensely.
**UPDATE BELOW 3rd PARA**1st off, the charger I received outputs 15 volts !!!! so I wouldn't charge a smartphone with it if yours is the same, as they normally operate at 5v input charge. You could blow your phone !Amps don't matter for phones, they only draw what they need, you could give it 13 amps, but an HTC One smartphone for example will only draw 1 amp max, but I bought this as a fast charger for the EasyAcc Superboy 12000Ah external battery, but again, its only supposed to accept 5v input, so it would blow that too.1 star for allowing me the opportunity to fry my two week old HTC One phone, thanks.**EDIT**EasyAcc saw my review and has sent me a replacement that supercedes this model, in that it outputs the correct voltage and is stable.I have used this charger 6 times over three days on various equipment and it does exactly what its supposed to do, charge at 5V with 2.0amps available. It has short circuit, anti surge, voltage and temperature protection which provides a good level of safety. The casing is robust and the cable is thick, the cable comes out of the top of the charger so that extra thickness provides better longevity with continued use, some other equipment with this design and thinner cables allow the gland to break and then the cable splits eventually. So at £6.99 with an upgrade in design and protection I'd say this was a good buy and it has the inline magnet to stop EM interference emmissions. Will provide extra review if this fails in any way in the coming weeks and months.Very happy with this replacement.

Does a good job of charging a variety of devices direct from ...
Does a good job of charging a variety of devices direct from the mains. Seems relatively fast compared to usb cables and adapters but I think this varies from device to device. For example my Nexus 7 used to take 5 hours+ with a regular bluetooth cable and charger adapter. But with this it takes around 2 hours to achieve full charge.I have used this on a Nexus 7 Tablet, a Xaiomi Yi action camera, a power bank and a samsung phone and a portable bluetooth speaker and all without any problems. The unit doesn't get hot when charging which is reassuring. I'm quite paranoid when it comes to third party chargers and their potential hazards depending on build quality and price but this one seems reliable and I have no qualms about using it with other devices.Build quality seems great and the cable isn't overly flexible or weak which means I'm not worried about wrapping the cable around the unit and throwing it into a gadget bag for fear of damaging it in any way.The cable is also quite long. Longer than most of the chargers I own, but this isn't a problem as you can just gather it up with one of those velcro fasteners or cable ties.

Great Value Smartphone Charger!
I bought this EasyAcc Charger for use with a variety of phones and have not been disappointed. The charger works well and is reliable, not had any problems with using the charger daily for over a year. The charger is a little on the bulky side but the build quality is good and feels sturdy in the hands.I've been able to charge my old HTC One and Vodaphone Smart Prime 7 phones with no problems and would recommend this for anyone looking for a budget charger that will get the job done and keep working with no problems.

No complaints!
I've been using this charger for a few weeks now, and it's working wonderfully! It charges my phone relatively fast (I'd say at a few % a minute, it actually surprised me how fast it charged), and the lead is long enough that I can have my phone plugged in and also take a call and walk around or use it in bed.My only gripe with this charger is that the lead comes from the top of the charger (so where the single pin would be, rather than on the end with two pins) so that the lead then bends when the phone is plugged in, and I am worried about this having a negative effect on the wiring in the long run, but the cable is quite thick and protective so I don't think that would be too much of an issue!Definitely would recommend at this price!
