There is a cute cleaning brush recessed into the base although you can just wash it under the tap. New foils are easy to come by and cheap. It takes around two minutes to have a clean-up shave where my Chinese one took nearly 10 minutes. It does not tug the hair it just cuts it without any discomfort. BRAUN sell razors for over £200. I get as close a shave with the M90 as I do with a wet razor against the grain of my beard. My skin must be pretty sensitive as I have only just found a wet razor I can do this with, previously I had to shave with the grain to avoid shaving rash. My wife loves the result and it's so convenient that if we are going out in the evening you can get rid of the 5 o'clock shadow in no time. Closest shave compared to Philips and fastest, + Trimmer *by U***E on 24 September 2014* Getting into Electric after wet shaving for 30 years. Tried the Philips Travel, and the Braun mobileshave - thought I'd do half my chin with one, half with the other. Wife likes the results from the Braun more. It actually shaves closer, and you complete the shave in a quarter of the time. The Philips however is completely different, really comfy to push around your face, feels really smooth going over your skin. Downside is you have to go around and around the same area a whole heap more. I'm a very impatient guy, and cannot be bothered with all this, just want the job done. However, I cannot help but be drawn to the Philips. If you have the patience, then it does just as close-a-shave as the Braun, and it's a more relaxed affair. Braun shocked me by having a tiny trimmer on the side of the thing ! It did knick and bump a bit around the chin, probably not a problem with the premium Brauns though. So, both get four stars. It's amazing what these companies can produce for such a cheap price, but I suspect they are aiming them at people like me who want to try them out and see how I get on.
