A: Yes

**Q: How are the bore bristles collected? Are they killed for them?**
A: Boars arnt killed for the bristles they are trimmed off so boars are not hurt in any way

**Q: Is it made in China?**
A: It doesn't state. I find that the length of the bristles are a bit too short for me when brushing hair. Overall a well made brush, very sturdy, all bristles are still in place!  Hopey information is helpful. Don't do Like me if you aren't quite happy with it send it back asap.
