I'd mislaid the instruction sheet I'd copied from a book in the '70s, so this sounded like a good alternative. Nope. The flapping bird doesn't flap for me. It looks nice....but no movement. So I hunted through my old stuff, found the old instruction sheet and....yep, mine is easier to make and it flaps. So.... I haven't tried anything else in this book.
