Is the handle etc silicone?** A: The mesh is made of Polyester and the handle and other plastic parts are plastic. **Q: Stupid question but do u have to freeze the food first before putting in ?** A: I was putting just fruit (not frozen) like bananas or apples to let my kit suck/chew it/bite it and enjoy. It is - except that it is an absolute rotter to clean afterwards. Not sure if a dishwasher would do a good job as I don't have one.
