The proportions of commercial chocolate to oil are provided in the instruction booklet. If you just melted Cadbury's and put that into the fountain it would jam the augur as the consistency is too heavy and thick. **Q: How much chocolate does this need please** A: We used a full bag of "Finest Belgian Milk Fondue Chocolate Drops 900g" for our first party.
