I bought it because I had some tests and was deficient, so I had to take supplements. I felt much better after using them, I will just have to get more tests done to see how efficient the supplements were. The pills are small and easy to swallow. If my doctor will tell me to take more supplements, definitely I will buy them again. Review: I have to take high strength folic acid - Due to being severely allergic to maize and over 150+ ingredients derived from maize, I can't take any prescription folic acid as all of them contain maize derived ingredients. It took me time to find this. This is, to my knowledge, 100% maize-free. Why do I have to take it? Unfortunately I'm on an immunosuppressant drug once a week and I must take up to 5mg folic acid 6 days a week to protect the liver. This works. Monthly blood tests over the past 2 years proves that taking three capsules 1 mg 6 days a week works as I've been told I need blood tests every 3 months instead of monthly. Very pleased. I think the capsule shell is maize free. No nasty maize derived magnesium stearate in these.
