Certainly ideal for drawing and sketching, but thick enough that pens and markers won't bleed and will hold up to watercolours well. **Q: How does this cope with multiple layers of coloured pencil?** A: Its a good quality paper but not as good as Strathmore Vellum or Toned. It has a good amount of tooth and working with light layers can can reach desired results.
