I found that it melts quickly and is easy to use, BUT you will need to work with the melted hot soap QUICKLY as it re-solidifies fast. With this item, you get a huge amount (2KG) and it is great value for money. Unlike other reviews, I certainly found that the soap produces a reasonable amount of lather. In terms of lather quantity, I really couldn't differentiate this to store bought soap. Though, it is much better than soap bought at supermarkets, and does not over dry hands - excellent for sensitive skin. Also, the soaps we made lasted a decent length of time. I love it and we had many happy hours at soap making. Highly recommended for personal use or just for fun :) Review: Easy to heat up and pour into moulds! Perfect for even beginners of soap making! - This melt and pour soap base is super easy to use, you can just cut up what you need and then stick it in a glass bowl and put it in the microwave and it will melt nicely! Try and only heat it up in 30 sec increments and stir in between sessions to get the best result, so you don't overheat and have it boil out of the bowl! I added soap coloring and scent to my soaps and it turned out really well. Tip: you have to work with the hot soap quickly and spray rubbing alcohol on top to get rid of the bubbles on top!
