I added the paste to a 100 ml sample pot of regular emulsion paint and voila ended up with virtually free chalk paint. I have painted alot of furniture with this mix. The application and finish is almost as good as the store bought stuff. The only thing I would say is that it has a very slightly grainier or rougher finish. I didn't mind this at all.
