The Autotek Wheel Lacquer is a lacquer that provides a tough and durable clear coat finish to protect all types of road wheels it is used on. The wheel lacquer has a fast drying formula which will means you should be able to apply a re-coat within 15 minutes. This should mean that you are able to achieve a professional looking gloss finish to the job faster. This lacquer has excellent resistance to weathering and abrasion, and also comes in a 500 ml canister. Autotek is a premium brand consisting of “1K” aerosol paint products. The range caters for the majority of priming and specialist painting applications. Review: Meets the description, does the job - All too frequently products are wrongly described - another manufacturer's 'matt' lacquer I previously purchased from desertcart was in effect a satin finish and not acrylic but solvent based. This product delivers what is written on the can - a matt acrylic finish and particularly suited to hiding slight blemishes (eg sanding scratch marks on wood) that a satin or gloss finish only highlight. Good product, quick drying.
Review: Easy to use, good finish, good chip resistance - I wanted a clear, matt, hard-wearing finish on some aluminium channel. A first couple of coats of white and then two coats of this stuff on top has delivered an excellent finish - even and with high chip resistance on my test piece. I used the product at the lower end of the recommended temperature range, and left 24 hours between coats. How durable it is remains to be seen, it hasn't been on there long enough to judge yet.
