When I just wear the inside portion it sits right at my hips (sometimes it rides up but that's just cause I need to slim down haha). **Q: What's the deal with the zippers??? We separated the 2 jackets from each other and now we can't put them back together. Why is this so confusing?** A: You have to turn the inner jacket "inside out" in order to zip them together. Otherwise the zippers don't match up. You've probably already figured this out but I'm answering for others who may find this confusing. It's actually something I don't like about the jacket. If you are too hot/cold it's a bit of a process to connect/disconnect the two. Where I live it can be well below freezing in the morning and warmish in the afternoon and the jacket would be more "flexible" if you didn't have to reverse the inner jacket like this. **Q: Are there inside pockets on the jackets? Is it like the Wantdo womens jacket that is just like the outer shell? I had that one but the lining ripped.** A: the puffy jacket does not have inside pockets. i am not 100% certain on the liner. I don't think it does.
