Makes for a very easy tidy up too as it all comes out as long bits rather than lots of tiny ones scattered everywhere. It doesn't come sharpened - you'll need to do this and keep it that way for optimum use, but if you do then this is a wonderful tool. If you dislike the idea of having to sharpen something then this is not the tool for you (seemingly the reason for others rating it poorly). It needs a bit of weight to get through any vegetation. The blade is so blunt it just knocks the straw like grass over it barely cuts anything. It should be supplied with a sharpening stone. I now need to go and buy one of them. Handle could do with being 6 inches longer.
