Shiny and soft, no nasty smells and no burning or heat. I did use both of the very generous conditioners, (one in each box) afterwards as my hair is like a sponge and needs deep a conditioner. I left them on a good 10/15 minutes after rinsing dye out. I did keep the dye on for an hour but I always do with all dyes even though it says 30 minutes. I am very pleased. Hope it stays in 6/8 weeks, I'll let you all know with an update.
