Review: Love these... - I have seen this type of tarpaulin fastening for years but thought they were a bit of a gimmick. I had a few free with a new tarpaulin and was very impressed how easy it was to secure a tarp using this type of bungee with the plastic ball. I purchased this set of 10 silverline bungees mainly due to the low price. They turned out to be an excellent product. I have been using them to secure a tarp on my new shed before getting around to putting the felt on. For one reason and another I have been waylaid and they have now been in use for a couple of months. Just screwed in cup hooks in the relative places and the ball located perfectly. These are a decent length and can doubly secured by wrapping around the hook as well. To be honest a couple have stretched and lost some of there elasticity but still working really well holding on the temporary roof and for the price they are almost disposable.
Review: Look good for light duty. - Having a boat these are quite useful for a number uses. Look to be sturdy for normal use, suspect they may be not strong enough for tarpaulins ties.

**Q: How exactly do they hold down a tarpaulin?**
A: Using bungee ball ties to secure a tarpaulin is quick and easy. Push the loop end of the tie through the eyelet on the canvas from the bottom, and pass the end of the loop through the middle of the cord between the canvas and the ball. Tighten the end of the loop to leave the ball resting on the eyelet of the tarpaulin. Wrap the end of the loop around the frame, pull it over the ball, and let go of the loop. The end of the loop should fit under the ball. If not, wrap the cord around the frame twice before securing it under the ball. The tie stays attached to the tarpaulin when you detach it from the frame later, making it easy to attach the canvas to the frame in future.

A: The ones I have are definitely black, I wanted them to match too :-)

**Q: will these do to tie garden bench**
A: I don't quite know what you mean but if of any help  I use them to secure a clear tarpaulin plastic sheet to the rear of a small   2.4x 1.5mt . metal garden  gazebo to prevent an annoying occasional east breeze causing discomfort when sitting in garden. The tarp has prepared brass eyelets thro which I pass the bungies and attach /loop over the metal frame to secure. They are handy for quick taking down of tarp if very windy to prevent gazebo taking off[solved this by putting frame legs in planters with postcrete and some earth for small plants] The bungies have so far performed well and reasonably strong for my purpose [ ie; no complaints so far ] but have their limits would not think any good if used for a structural purpose or likely to be used where tension is essential to secure an item.

**Q: From the top of the trailer to the bottom is 4x6 what is the best size for a overlap.**
A: Don’t know, haven’t found how to use mine yet, 😐
