I like that it's in a tub as I find it easier to store than having bags of powder under my sink! I use bicarbonate of soda in many different ways around my home, here are just some of them:- Bathroom cleaning scrub - 2 parts bicarb, 1 part Epsom salts (or other course salt) & a splash of liquid Castile soap to form a paste. Apply to tiles & grout... Let it sit for about 10 mins then scour off and rinse well. Fabric refresher - 1 tbsp bicarb, water & several drops of essential oils of your choice. Place in spray bottle & spritz fabrics as necessary. Bicarb helps neutralise odours. Remove odour from carpets - sprinkle all over carpet & leave over night then simply vacuum up in the morning. Air freshener - place small jars of bicarb around your house sprinkled with essential oils of your choice. Laundry - when extra deodorising is required add 1/2 cup to the washing machine drum or mix in with your usual powder. There are too many uses for me to list here but I hope the above was helpful.

I only drunk 2 times a tablespoon with a glass of water and the infection was all gone!! I also use this mixed with coconut oil to clean my face and theeth..The results are unbeliveble.

**Q: Is it aluminium free?**
A: It didn't say it is on the tub. And yes Aluminium actually can be in bicarb, Dr oetker customer service reply to me said theirs is 1 part in a million I think it was.

**Q: I just received mine yesterday, there are numbers printed on the side. One set of numbers looks like a date. Is this the best before date?**
A: At the side there is one set of numbers which starts with B/B and then for example 09/18, this does in deed mean 'best before 09/18'.  However in my experience the product can still be used long after the best before date which the manufacturer has to give by regulations.

**Q: Is this the same as Sodium Bicarbonate 500mg capsules?**
A: This is sodium bicarbonate in powder, not capsules. I do not know what are the ingredients for the capsules but this one is only and pure sodium bicarbonate.

**Q: Can this be used for cleaning veg,ie pesticide removal ?**
A: Hello, thanks for your question. We aren't aware of uses relating to cleaning vegetables for pesticide removal. Also known as baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, is used to relieve heartburn, sour stomach or acid indigestion by neutralizing excess stomach acid and promoting alkaline environments. It is used as an artificial leavening agent and for therapeutic purposes. Thank you

I'm a great believer in natural cleaning products for both home & body. This 400g tub is good value & perfect for my requirements. I like that it's in a tub as I find it easier to store than having bags of powder under my sink!
