The reviews are all over the place with almost as many very negative ones as positive.** A: This is a very poorly made item. I realize I did not pay very much for it (less than $10 with shipping I do not have prime) but still it is bad considering it is suppose to have a purpose. I never even realized that plastic could even be made this thin. The switch is actually the pocket clip that you push down to reach what looks like tinfoil. It worked but I am sure not for long. The light was a very dull blueish color and then when you try to see into the ear it was also dull and unclear. I guess you get what you pay for but my time is worth something ordering and waiting for the item to get here because I need to use it for a purpose (my 2 year old gets frequent ear infections and is about to get tubes). What makes this even worse I decided to go cheap again and bought another one that was about twice the cost of this model and it was exactly the same otosocpe. I mean exact exact. The only difference was the name written on the box but I guarantee it was made by the same factory. I hope the third time is the charm. I am going to try this one more time. All I can say is that the 5 star reviews written on the 2 models I purchased are very misleading and had to be written or at least paid for by the person selling these otoscopes. There is no way on gods green earth that these ear scopes deserve positive reviews. It deserves a negative star. **Q: What size is the speculas?** A: There are three sizes but no measurements listed on them. Opening is narrow to wide sorry I cannot give you a better answer. **Q: How do I keep the light on ?
