They don't have noise cancelling but that is why I like them. They fit well, are comfortable and the quality of sound (I use them on PC) is excellent and on par with other headphones I have had over the years. I have used them on my tablet when I went into hospital, and again the sound quality is very good, they are good for music, listening to YouTube videos and films. We have a portable DVD player and mine fits that, no adapter needed.The headphones have no volume or other controls if that's what your question is.
