Just put our bed on to the bathroom scales and it weighs in at 8.3 kilos! Folded dimensions are 93 x 70 x 11 cm so it may be a bit awkward to manoeuvre. The base is woven webbing, not metal so that is where the weight-saving comes from. The instructions say to put the bed on it's side or upside down to open the legs but I have found that when turning up the right way, it tends to fold again in the middle.
