Review: Flows nicely once you break the seal, smells nice, should last a long time. - Good stuff, highly recommended. What the bottle instructions don't tell you is that you first need to unscrew the big top, then remove the white peel-off seal, and then screw the big top back on firmly. Only then should you unscrew the little top, and the fluid will now flow smoothly. There is no need to try to pierce the top with a needle, to get it flowing. With that initial problem solved, the bottle will work as expected. Flows nicely, smells nice, easy to apply if a bit 'drippy'. Use newspaper to catch drips. Be sure to let it dry for 3 or 4 hours before riding. There's lots in the bottle, so should last a whole wet season (i.e. an English year) before you need a new bottle.

**Q: When using this wet lube do I also need to use bike oil or can I just use this product without applying other oil?**
A: This is the lubricant for your chain Thomas. Before you apply this one your chain, using the Mc Off Bike Cleaner with the brush. After that, using a dry towel or nice and clean paper to give your chain dry first. Then apply this wet lube in the wet weather like snowing or raining. It helps a lot, without creating dirty chains. I am really satisfied with this product.

**Q: Is there a way to chek if your chain needs lube?**
A: It's best as a thing you do every once in a while as it'll help the parts last Ionger. Best to do after cleaning your chain/gears with Muc-off degreaser and then dried with Muc-off water disperser. Seeing as we're having dry weather is recommend dry lube (yellow) as this drys as a film and not like a liquid like this does

**Q: Is this lube conductive?**
A: I dont know this,but is really good for wet weather!!!

**Q: after using a cassette cleaner, how often would you use this?**
A: I clean my chain/cassette once every two weeks -  proper clean/degrease.  Average 400km cycling per week. I put on just enough to stop any small noise.

Good stuff, highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works, but makes a sticky black build-up on chain and gears.

I'm in two minds about this product. It is easy to apply, it seems to lubricate well, and it keeps my chain working in atrocious weather. However, it needs a complete degrease every 100 miles since it creates a very sticky black build-up on your chain and gears which is not easy to remove without a chain-cleaner device. If I don't do this the build-up will start to affect gear changing. I've use this every week for 8 months and done 4000 miles on one chain. I've just replaced my chain and the total chain wear made the overall chain length >1-link longer when compared with a new chain. This lubricant can't claim that it works well enough to eliminate chain wear, but it has kept me going through rain and snow.
