If you can wire a cable in, I'd highly recommend using this as an access point over extender mode - much faster speeds. The only annoying feature is the ethernet port enters from the side (see pic). Fine for me, but something to be aware of. Overall, this is a great little unit for its price. It’s a decent enough extender and boosts without any criticism but drops signal quite often, and I couldn’t figure out if it was the extender or my router.
