Its slighty salty so most like it. Cant remember the dosage, as I use Lactoferrin for my cats herpes flare ups, and weepy eyes. I would definitely buy this again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stuff for cat flu *by J***E on 15 February 2016* I use this in small amounts to help my Burmese cat with his cat flu flares, it does seem to help take the symptoms down if I can get him to eat it. It's extremely bitter to taste (I know I've tried some) and is so strong it makes any food taste a little funky. I tend to give him a small amount on a tiny rolled up piece of ham, he'll only eat it that way. I have to say though it does help when I can get him to eat it. A great product, in such a huge pot even for human consumption it'd last a long time. Fab product overall.
