Sitting on a donut was recommended to relieve some of the pressure on his sciatica nerve. This pillow has exceeded our expectations. He says it lessens his pain when sitting and he can feel a big difference. It makes him able to sit comfortably in his office chair and while driving. For reference, he is 250lbs. This pillow definitely does what it says and is VERY worth the money.
