Okay, maybe not a LIFE saver, but it's most certainly a SHEET saver and a MATTRESS saver! If you have little ones like I do, you know what a hassle it is if there's a bed wetting accident in the middle of the night. Having to change out the sheets and blanket along with dealing with a wet mattress is a nightmare. That's why any parent will love this pad as much as I do. Just place it on top of the sheet and let your toddler sleep on top of it. When there's a bed wetting incident, the sheets are protected, and it's so much easier to toss the washable pad into the washer. If not for this pad, I would be needing to wash the sheets almost every day. And It's easy enough to fold up and take with you when the family's going to spend the night in a hotel or at grandma's house. This was definitely a worthwhile purchase. It's soft and comfortable and not at all "plastic-y", so he doesn't mind one bit. If my kid wets the bed, I just pull one or both off, whichever got the pee, and throw in the wash. Washes and dries quickly and way better than having to change all the sheets AND mattress protector. In fact, I taught him to just grab his wet pad and pjs, roll them up with the "blue side" (back) facing out, and put it in the laundry for me.
