I've been a doll collector since I was a little girl, and I wanted to try dipping my toes back into the 18-inch world after all the goings-on of another well-known American brand.I love that Emily has a ball joint neck and moulded shoulders. I feel like so many more outfits work on her, and I can pose her in so many more angles.I have only two complaints and one word of warning.1. The neck is not very durable. She's a little floppy. I've got a sleep disorder, so it's created a few laughs because "She's just like me!" But I'd worry about giving her to a child who is more aggressively playful.2. The hair's rooting gets fairly sparse at the base of the head. Most kids won't care, but if you want to style her into a ponytail or an updo, you might notice some bald spots if you don't place things carefully. My word of warning is that Emily gets some really intense bedhead coming out of the box. It's nothing some rag curls with her hair set in room-temperature water sprayed on can't fix, but it's very there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty, good quality. *by N***K on August 3, 2024* Very pretty doll. Very similar to American girls but slimmer. I like more graceful and thiner dolls. The hair is thick, good stitching. The stuffing is dense. From the neck to the waist, vinyl or plastic, which means open tops will look good and natural. You can use more clothing options. The head will not stick out from the "cotton wool".It would be better if the body were completely vinyl. Then there would be more clothing options. The doll is adorable. It won't disappoint.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE her hair! *by M***A on November 7, 2023* No lie, I got this Adora doll because her hair reminded me of my mom. It's my first Adora doll and I was excited to compare her to my collection of Our Generation dolls. I found that this Adora doll is comparable to the OG line of dolls, but her measurements are about 1/4" smaller.Besides her amazing hair, she also came with a non-zippered jacket, tee shirt, shorts, hand warmers, leg warmers, headband, and skates. The only downside I found was that the headband was too snug of a fit for me to get on and off easily. The biggest difference between this doll and my OG dolls is that her head can move from side to side and up and down. Half of her chest is a hard plastic instead of cloth which allows her head to move and not fall off. This feature makes posing her so much easier. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/477307703-adora-amazing-girls-18-doll-dino-lucy-with-safari-outfit](https://www.desertcart.us/products/477307703-adora-amazing-girls-18-doll-dino-lucy-with-safari-outfit) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
