Review: Perfect for this dyslexic person to read and use - Honestly I wanted the larger non-travel version of this clock but the same manufacturer that also completely runs on batteries but it did not have ht option of the green numbers which are easier for me to read at night. Like most people with dyslexia I have the hypersensitivity to electronic text where we are hypersensitive to the refresh rate of electronic media and it aggravates the dyslexic issues. The higher the contrast the harder it is to read for us, and when you use something like a feature that illuminates at night or a dark area it is so much more difficult when fully awake, and sleepy is almost impossible (and at time has made me physically ill). Once I got my first indiglow digital watch, which at the time only military members could get and my father bought for me at the PX) I discovered on my own that green illumination or text colors is the least disruptive and easiest for me to see. I know red is better for night vision, but green is easier for dyslexic people to read under the same conditions. So this smaller alarm clock was the only real option as I need a fully battery operated alarm clock as only fully battery alarm clock will go off when there is a power interruption, and are portable for travel which I love on the occasional times I can take time off work to volunteer and since I am no rich I camp and a campground a week to two to do. Modern alarm clocks battery only maintains the settings so you do not have to reset after power comes back on, and that is in a good excuse for your boss that you missed to were late for work. I am like most people not in management now, i have a completely variable schedule week to week so I might be on a closing shift one night and then morning or opening two days later (or even the next day as business only is required to give you 8hrs between shifts) so I do not go to sleep or get up two days in a row. I also like most workers am lucky to have 2 days off in a row every month or two so clocks that have a "weekend" function which cannot be turned off are worthless to me and all the rechargeable clocks with alarms I could find had that except for one which review tell of problems of keeping it disarmed. It is a fire-able offense to be late more than twice in 90 days in my "right to work state" which everyone calls right to fire if you are not a manager. SO please bear that in mind next time you are rude or yell at a retail associate that almost everything is out of their control and your yelling at someone can get them fired when it is corporate fault not theirs. Things that might get you a reprimand even 10years now are fireable offenses, with or without a dock to your pay. So I really needed a reliable alarm clock and being able to swap out batteries in seconds was high on my priority list along with green are at least not black or white text in a high contrast background most of the time much less when using a feature to illuminate at night. I have been using the clock a couple of days and so far I love it. Setup was so intuitive that only one feature required met to refer to the directions. I had to find out how to dim the clock to decrease the illumination and reduce the contrast for my dyslexia. I was first setting my clock at night and after 8pm to 6am the clock automatically decreases the illumination because one you don't need it and two it saves battery power as it is harder to read digital displays in full sunlight so you need a stronger illumination during daylight hours. So after 8pm there are only 3 brightness setting not the usual 3. The buttons are easy light presses which is good as this is aimed at traveling buttons are small. Only the snooze and F/C temp change button is full size but they only require feather light touches to use. Luckily my cats playing with those specific buttons will not disrupt my normal usage of the clock. I love that flipping the clock over shows the temperature and it appears to be pretty accurate as it agreed with m atomic clock as well and my barometer weather station that monitors a couple of outdoor sensors as well as indoors. Temp features are invaluable when traveling or camping and having a battery, non wall outlet reliant temperature gauge is invaluable in m rural area where the TV stations that own the local licenses are over 90 miles away and 2500+ lower in elevation so they rarely keep track of my weather. There was a learning curve using the buttons as I have had the same alarm clock for over 10 years and I got used to slider buttons no the tap ones this clock has, but this one has a battery monitor when the other just had a seizure with the display blinking on an off at the night illumination and all the alarms going off a once until you took out the batteries as the only signal that the batteries needed to be replaced because they are low. That alarm clock i many colors under $15 is still popular here though now i doesn't tell the day of the week anymore. This clock I half the size so I pray I or m cats never knock it behind my bed or I will have to take the bed apart to retrieve it buy that also means it take up less than half the space when it is packed for travel. I am a light sleeper with intermittent insomnia and now that I live in a rural area (and not within a mile of a freeway in a agricultural area near a metro area in California) I am a much lighter sleeper so stringent alarms are unneeded and cause my to wake up in a panic and adrenaline rush to flight or flee and not a nice clam way to wake up. The alarm is more than sufficient to wake you up and not wake up all you neighbors humans or animals and wildlife outside. The tone is not natural background noises even of electronics so it should suffice to wake you up even though it is not a blisteringly loud it continues some time before it auto shuts off and then starts again (if I understand the directions) like the snooze function was activated. I like the compact look as I again now have room to put the book I read before bed or my tv remote on my bedside table instead of under my pillow as it surprising how even a couple of inches gained makes a huge difference to organization and storage of other objects. So far it only is missing one feature i prefer to have the day of the week in my clock as well, but to find a green screen font and battery operated was sufficient to try this clock. If the larger clock by this manufacturer that has the the features I would prefer but no green display...but I am very happy with this clock even if i am not comfortable with the small top press buttons instead of the back slider one I got used to with my last alarm clock. The small size and clever functionality like turning the clock switched between clock and temp readings show the good design of this clock making it worth the price. If the larger version of this model can in green display font display I would by it in addition to this clock because i already like this small put powerful clock so much already. The larger models that at battery operated either do not have the green display or do not have the temperature function. I always update my reviews if something changes for good or bad.
Review: It Works Under TV - I have not had this long, but so far so good. I looked for many hours before I found one this small that fits under the tv to replace the time on cable box that I no longer have. It’s perfect and slides right under it. Keeps great time, and was easy to set. The only thing I would change is a black background with white digits for time.

## Features

- 🔄 2-IN-1 DESIGN – TIME RIGHT SIDE UP, TEMPERATURE UPSIDE DOWN – A clever and intuitive feature: when the clock is upright, it shows the bright, easy-to-read time. Flip it over, and it instantly displays the indoor temperature in °C or °F. No buttons, no menus – just flip! Perfect for checking room comfort at a glance, especially for parents monitoring a baby’s room, or anyone sensitive to temperature changes.
- 👁️ CRYSTAL-CLEAR LED DISPLAY WITH 3 BRIGHTNESS LEVELS + AUTO NIGHT MODE – The large red or green digits are visible from across the room, even without your glasses. Choose from High, Medium, or Low brightness to suit your preference. At night, the clock automatically dims from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, providing a soft glow that won’t disrupt your sleep.
- 🔋 BATTERY POWERED – NO CORDS, NO OUTLET NEEDED – Runs on 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included) and lasts over a year on a single set. Place it anywhere – bedroom, living room, kitchen, office, RV, or even a tent – without hunting for an outlet. Plus, during power outages, your clock keeps ticking and your alarm still works. The low battery indicator flashes when it’s time for fresh batteries.
- ⏰ RELIABLE ALARM WITH SMART SNOOZE – Wake up on time with a gradually increasing alarm that’s loud enough to rouse even heavy sleepers. Need a few more minutes? Tap the top snooze area for an extra 7 minutes (repeatable up to 3 times). The alarm automatically resets for the next day. Perfect for daily routines, medication reminders, or early flights.
- 🧳 ULTRA-PORTABLE & VERSATILE – IDEAL FOR TRAVEL, CAMPING, AND HOME – Weighing just a few ounces and small enough to fit in a pocket, this clock is the ultimate travel companion. No more fumbling with unfamiliar hotel alarm clocks or relying on your phone. Use it at home on your nightstand, desk, or under the TV. It’s also a thoughtful gift for seniors, kids, college students, and anyone who values simplicity and reliability.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little clock.

Got it for camping. Cool to know temp inside the tent. Use the time side while sleeping, can easily see the time in the middle of the night without putting on glasses.
