This year was Beetlejuice so I wanted to find black pasta. After asking friends if they'd ever had it, their opinion was it's very briney (seafood strong) so pair it with a seafood dish. I did a non traditional shrimp scampi. The package was well sealed in an air tight wrap, up on opening it had a strong seafood smell.
